Mark Foster sculpture, Bath, unveiling May 21st, 2012
It is a great honour to have been commissioned to create this monumental Olympian torso for our World Heritage City, as a guest artist for Art at the Edge. This huge Olympic sculpture will be both a celebration of the past and an inspiration for future generations to come, I hope you will join us on the 21st for the official unveiling by Mark Foster himself.
Most recent work: The Gift, for the Prince's Trust, December 2011
Ben has been likened to a modern day Michelangelo, carving his timeless works from statuary marble which he collects from the very spot this great master discovered over 500 years ago: The Alpi Apaune Mountains of Italy, Pietrasanta. He has works in many public and private collections from as far away as Australia, South Africa, throughout Europe and right back to England. He is represented by the Belgravia Gallery, London, and is considered to be one to watch for the future.
